Greenpower Mobility - All-Energy Medium and Heavy-Duty Vehicles

Greenpower creates, manufactures and distributes a variety of medium- and heavy-duty electric vehicles. This includes school buses, cargo buses, and shuttles.

EV Star is a zero-emission vehicle that offers a lot of personalization. It's also fully FTA certified and Buy America compliant. It offers class-leading range, ADA wheelchair provisions, and cargo delivery configurations.

GreenPower Motor Company manufactures a complete range of heavy and medium-duty electric vehicles, including high-floor and lower-floor models. Their flagship vehicle is the EV Star Cab & Chassis platform, which can accommodate various body designs and upgrades for a variety of applications. The platform's design is based on a clear paper sheet, which allows for the best positioning of the battery pack and a lower center-of-gravity. This results in higher payload/range ratios.

The EV Star REEFERX is designed to serve mid to last mile refrigerated delivery and catering applications. The class 4 refrigerated trucks' one interior wall structure and higher insulation than conventional trucks, allows for seamless sanitation and better temperature control. They also have a longer service life. The EV Star REEFERX offers superior cargo capacity, and an industry-leading payload to range for zero-emission transport of passengers or goods.

GreenPower partnered with Perrone Robotics in order to equip the EV Star with TONY (To navigate you) autonomous vehicle systems. This will enable fleets to easily make the transition to autonomous vehicles. The AV Star will also be capable of wireless charging up to 75 kW.

We had the chance to test the EV9 for a few hours on a local freeway and found it easy to drive and comfortable for long distances. The EV9 is able to suppress wind and road noise while driving on the highway.  green power mobility reviews  is smooth on bumps and ruts. The acceleration is surprisingly fast and the car has adjustable regenerative braking that allows "one pedal driving" by lifting off of the accelerator.

The EV9 has a great range and can be fully recharged in about three hours at home or using any commercial charger. The driver can choose from two operating modes - eco mode and sport mode. Eco mode prioritizes torque as well as cruise control and handling, while sport mode increases speed.  power mobility  are enjoyable to drive and provide an experience unlike any other for those who've never experienced driving an electric vehicle before.

GreenPower offers a variety of other electric vehicles that include a multi-purpose all-electric minibus, called the EV Star. The EV Star is ADA-compliant and can be used for executive shuttles, microtransit or transit vanpools, buses, and paratransit vehicles.

GreenPower produces about 10 EV Star busses a month for Jacksonville Transit Authority. The Jacksonville Transit Authority is replacing their older diesel vehicles fleet with 100 electric cars. With the Biden Administration aiming to electrify school buses nationwide, GreenPower plans on ramping production to meet demand. Their EV Star bus is the first of its kind to be tested in Altoona and FMVSS-certified, Buy America compliant and ADA compliant. This makes them eligible for federal transit grants. Keep an eye on us as we follow the AV Star on its tour of demonstration later in the year. We'll be sure to share more details on this amazing electric vehicle!
